American Tragedy

The Real Crisis In America

“This is exactly what you get in a culture where anything goes and nothing matters. Extract all the meaning and purpose from being here on earth, and erase as many boundaries as you can from custom and behavior, and watch what happens, especially among young men trained on video slaughter games.”

Author James Howard Kunstler

(Referring to the shootings in El Paso and Dayton)

A few weeks ago two young men killed 31 innocent people in a senseless slaughter in two American cities, in seemingly unrelated events. The left loving media and democrat presidential wannabees deflected the cause away from the truth to serve their own purposes, nullifying their qualification to hold any elective office let alone the presidency.

Culture commentator and Christian Conservative, Gary Bauer, responded on Twitter. . .

“Why mass shootings? Simple. No God in schools or hearts. Erosion of faith. No fear of hell. Broken families. Absent Fathers. Culture of death/a million abortions a year. Growing nihilism. Mental health crisis. Drugs.”

Tucker Carlson wrote on August 16th . . .

“Many of our boys are living in what Kunstler describes as an “abyss of missing social relations” with “no communities, no fathers, no mentors, no initiations into personal responsibility, no daily organizing principles, no instruction in useful trades, no productive activities, no opportunities for love and affection, and no way out.”

“A huge portion of American young people aren’t in any kind of relationship at all. It’s no wonder millions of young people feel helpless, miserable and alone. They lack friends or parents or religious organizations to give their lives purpose and moral coherence. They live in a suffocating culture they feel no control over. Local identity and local institutions are the weakest they’ve ever been in this country.”

Kuntsler, Bauer, and Carlson are right. Our embrace of the religion of secular humanism that reigns in our schools, media, culture, government, churches, and now homes. . . is ripening before our very eyes.

Since the infamous 1947 Supreme Court Case that redefined the meaning of the First Amendment, the secular religionists have said to the Christians, “Step aside now. We know best.”

As Trevor Louden said, “Freedom is one election away from being destroyed, unless Americans wake up and take a stand.” That time is NOW!

“The liberal Warren Court (1953-1969) may have envisioned attaining freedom from religion by the removal of prayer and the Bible from public education in their Engel v. Vitale (1962) and Abington School District v. Schempp (1963) decisions. What they really brought about, however, was not neutrality toward religion, but “a religion of secularism.”

Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart 1958 to 1981

“Our cause is noble; it is the cause of mankind!”
