Dr. Richard Land, President of Southern Evangelical Seminary, citing recent surveys, said that the state of the church in the United States is “in serious decline.” 40% of American adults are considered “post Christian“, and “at least 75% of youth have left church after High School. 51% of Evangelicals believe that God accepts the worship of all religions; 46% of millennials agree that gender is a matter of choice; and 60% of all who were surveyed say religious belief is a matter of personal opinion rather than of objective truth.”
The Barna Group reports that “The percentage of teens who identify as atheist is double that of the general population.”
The 23% of Americans who are atheists or agnostics or “nothing in particular” believe “faith is irrational,” a matter of ‘personal opinion,’ a conclusion that is far, far from objective truth.
These findings are warning signs to God’s people that unless we speak truth to our neighbor about the spirit that is behind the disintegration of our culture and freedoms, the future of America is worse than bleak.
Honestly…the response to our call for support this last week has been a disappointment. Many who read our Commentaries, Alerts, and Calls To Prayer – and have for several years – have never given. Please…your financial support is needed now as we go into the lean summer months to speak boldly of our Providential Heritage and the power of Christ to Restore America “Under God”
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.”
II Corinthians 10:4-5
Pray for our nation’s leaders, our pastors, and for the Body of Christ to find their voice in the war against the Left’s Efforts to destroy the nation.
