The Assault On Our Faith Goes To Court

“Watch out for yourselves, be on your guard for they will deliver you up to the courts and you will be flogged…and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, as a testimony to them.”

Remember Melissa Klein? At the hand of radical elected officials in Oregon State Government, Melissa, a Christian, and the owner of a small cake baking business near Portland, was fined well over $100,000 and her business destroyed for “politely declining to create and express a message that was contrary to her faith.”

The lawsuit against Melissa was brought by a homosexual couple and supported by the GLBT community in Portland as well as democrat officials in both Portland and the State Legislature.

Melissa’s case now goes before the U.S. Supreme Court, and the outcome will impact every Christian business owner in America, their free speech rights and religious liberty. The Freedom our Founders and generations since, fought and died for will no longer exist if the Court rules against her right to exercise her faith as she sees fit.

“The government has no right to tell business owners, entrepreneurs or creative professionals what they can and cannot say, and much less to punish them for operating consistently with their faith.”

Our Father, as the end of all things grows closer, and the enemy of our souls leads his minions in darkness, may we walk in the light, sober and vigilant, ready to glorify You. We pray the Holy Spirit will go before the Kleins, their Advocates, and the Justices who will hear their case. Make them all aware of Your Presence and the righteousness of Melissa’s Case. Make it abundantly clear that her rights of conscience and freedom to follow her faith are protected by the First Amendment, and no man, men, or court, has a right to deny those God granted rights. In His Name we pray, so be it.
