Facing Ourselves
Yesterday was the day in 2001 when America was attacked by Muslim terrorists from the Middle East determined to destroy our nation economically and spiritually. They failed. But the real threat to America, as Lincoln observed, is not from without, but from ourselves.
Defending our Freedoms
Before he was elected President, General Dwight Eisenhower saw first hand the death camps of Germany, the ravages of war, and the threat to our freedoms from communism and fascism. He recognized that Americans who value those freedoms must continually defend and sustain them lest we come under the darkness of injustice and oppression that threatens from within or without.
Facts Oregon Christians Must Act Upon
According to numerous Pew Forum studies and research going back to 2002, Evangelical and Born Again Christians in Oregon who are eligible to Vote comprise approximately 24% (787,000) of Oregon’s population. If 75% turn out to VOTE their Biblical values, Oregon civil government could be restored to the “Eternal Rules of Order and Right” embraced by our Founders and for which generations since have given their all to preserve.
In Oregon, well over 500,000 Eligible to Vote Evangelical and Born Again Christians DID NOT VOTE in the May 2018 Oregon Primary. So much for ‘valuing’, ‘sustaining’, and ‘defending’ our freedoms!
Five weeks (Sundays for churches), remain, for Christian organizations, home groups, men’s and women’s groups, to PRAY, register their unregistered friends and brethren, and URGE them to VOTE as soon as they receive their ballots on or about October 20th.
This may well be the last best opportunity for the Body of Christ in Oregon to stop taxpayer funded abortion, redirect the Legislature, and stop the anti God, anti Christian, secular humanist takeover of Oregon’s future. You have the VOTERS! Oregon’s pastors and Christian leaders must stop doubting their ability to lead their congregations to victory, get our of their ‘let someone else do it’ mode, and…
