James Madison, 4th President of the United States, appointed Joseph Story to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1811. The youngest and possibly the most influential person ever to serve as a Justice, Story served 34 years until his death in 1845.
In 1844, Justice Story delivered the Court’s unanimous decision in Vidal v. Girard’s Executors, saying…
“Christianity…is not to be maliciously and openly reviled and blasphemed against, to the annoyance of believers or the injury of the public…”
The efforts by those in America who are determined to remove any reference to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in our textbooks, cemeteries, courtrooms, legislative bodies, public statements, and the marketplace, is not only unabated in the Obama Administration, but aided and abetted.
The efforts are not only malicious, they are openly intolerant, blasphemous, and injurious to the broader well being of the culture in which we live, not to mention our freedom of speech and religion.
Your VOTE, and your efforts to get fellow believers registered and out to VOTE, is critical to the outcome of the most important election in our lifetime!
