Positive Backlash: The Upside To Left Wing Religious Bigotry

In my last blog I wrote about America’s religion of the left (secular humanism) and  illustrated how it’s proponents do all they can to prevent any public discussion of both their intent to impose it upon all Americans and how it’s implementation is already destroying our foundational institutions. The closest we came to hearing anything from the mainstream media about their strategems was Glenn Beck on the FoxNews Channel.

A current example of their strategy to destroy any opposition to their goal of removing Christian influence in America is the bigoted attack on Chick-fil-A.  Todd Starnes, in a  FoxNews article on July 31st, wrote, “The vicious left-wing assault against Chick-fil-A should serve as a wakeup call to people of faith.  It’s not about a chicken sandwich. It’s about the future of our country.”

Thankfully, believers across the nation have had enough of the intolerance of their opposition to same sex marriage, and put downs of their freedom of speech and conscience by left wing bigots, and rightly so.  In a national display of support for the owners and management of Chick-fil-A, they turned out in huge numbers on Wednesday to affirm their freedom of speech and opposition to the tactics of the same sex marriage movement.

Christians, particularly those in the democrat party, should take note when it comes to the November 6th election, that six elected  democrats “in more than a half dozen major cities have led the charge – slandering Chick-fil-A’s owner and calling for all-out bans on the company’s expansion efforts in places like Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston and San Francisco.”  As Leith Anderson, president of the National Association of Evangelicals pointed out, “Individuals have the right to decide whether or not to ‘eat mor chikin.’ But no government leader should restrict a business or organization from expanding to their district based on the personal or political views of the owners. Such evident discrimination and attempts to marginalize those with religious values have no place in American democracy.”

It should come as no surprise that the radical secular humanist philosophy that controls the U.S. Senate is the reason every effort by the duly elected representatives of the people in the Congress to address the pressing issues of unemployment, out of control spending, and entitlements, are not being considered.  Senate democrats are of the same mindset as those who are attacking Chick-fil-A.

Christians who are concerned about ‘the future of the country’ and the ‘evident discrimination’ against their views, would do well to show the same enthusiasm about voting in November as they did in support of Chick-fil-A.
