A Biblical Response To The ‘Transing’ of America
Fundamental Truth is quickly departing from America’s Culture, government, education, and media, with each successive generation. Aside from the efforts to ‘cancel’ our nation’s foundation — the truths found in the Bible — our failure to understand the difference between a Democracy and a Republic, cannot be overlooked.
That crucial difference is a major reason for the ‘gridlock’ in Washington D. C. and several state legislatures or governors controlled by liberal, even radical, democrats with a far left agenda.
Virtually no one in the American news media nor their guests refer to America as a Republic, opting instead to call us a democracy, when in truth, America is not a ‘democracy’. It is a Democratic Republic. There is an important difference.
Whereas a ‘democracy’ is government by a majority in which the majority can impose and rule by whatever they wish, a republic serves to respect, preserve, and protect the rights of others including the minority, as delineated in and by a Constitution, such as we have now.
Our Pledge of Allegiance reads:
“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
(Ordered ‘Liberty’, not the disordered freedom to do as one pleases)
As a Constitutional Republic, what is going on before our eyes is the difference between so called ‘progressive’ democrats who want to remake America into a democracy and force Americans to conform to their anti- capitalist, anti-Christian world view wishes using their one vote majority in the Senate — Kamala Harris — as the tie breaker between an evenly divided Senate – 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans, with a Democrat President determined to impose the will of his Party on all Americans, and Elected Republicans in both Houses standing in their way.
Without it being said, Kamala Harris may be the most powerful elected official in the nation.
The “gridock” that is obvious every day in D.C. is because, thankfully, elected Republicans in both houses of Congress are seeking to uphold the Constitution, the rule of law, to respect, preserve, and protect the rights of the people, who clearly under the restraints of the Constitution, do not like what the democrats are seeking to do.
Republicans, on Constitutional grounds, are opposed to the circumvention of the Constitution by the current President and his Party (e.g. paying billions of taxpayer dollars to pay student loans), who wish to ‘Rule’, over us by ignoring the wishes of the people’s House of Representatives, decisions of the Supreme Court he and his Party do not like, and the U.S. Constitution.
The “issue” in the 2024 Election is whether the American people want to remain a Democratic Republic under the current Constitution; by insisting on honest elections, and turning out to vote; or succumb to the will of the few who are making it clear by their obfuscation, and circumvention of the Constitution, and all moral standards, that they want to re-write the Constitution, increase the number of justices on the Supreme Court, increase regulations, and taxes to accommodate a global warming scheme; warp our children’s minds, and exercise even more control over our citizenry.
If we elect ‘progressive’ democrats to both houses of Congress, and the Presidency, we will lose our freedoms including religious liberty and no longer have a government of, by, and for the People.
Illustrative of where this conflict, engendered by a newly implemented world view, and effort to force Americans to buy into not only a global warming deception but a rejection of all things Christian, includes who controls our children.
