The coming 8 Days are crucial for America’s future as a nation. Voters who understand our heritage – why that heritage has made America a great nation – and wish to continue the blessings of that heritage, must turn out in far greater numbers than in the past. Hopefully several million of those who were either unregistered or registered and not voting have come to understand how important their votes are for this election.
Evangelical Christians – the largest voting bloc in the nation – are critical to maintaining that heritage, the freedoms we enjoy, opportunities it avails, and the inspiring hope only our faith provides.
If we fail to grasp the magnitude of this election, understand the vast difference between the Democrat and Republican Party values and goals, and still vote for democrat candidates to the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, and President, it could well be the end of our freedoms.
In the last three and a half years we have witnessed merciless and unconscionable attacks, lies, insults, and unwarranted, even traitorous efforts to destroy the President of the United States, a non-politician insider, beholden to none other than the American people.
Donald Trump – unlike a long list of politicians before him – has worked tirelessly to fulfill every promise he made in the 2016 Campaign, and many more.
If you listen to, read, or watch the major news media and democrat talking heads, Donald Trump is undoubtedly the most hated President in the nation’s history, and for what?
Fulfilling his promises… starting with building a wall to curb illegal immigration?
Reducing taxes to bring business and jobs back to America?
Eliminating unnecessary government agency regulations?
Restoring the economy and lowering unemployment to record lows?
Restoring our military and the VA?
Nominating 3 conservative Justices to the Supreme Court and over a hundred conservative judges to lower federal courts?
Eliminating ISIS and Iran’s leading terrorist?
Getting out of the nuclear agreement with Iran, and the unfair and costly Paris Accords?
Saving 75 billion with NATO, and untold billions by renegotiating NAFTA and trade policies with China and numerous other nations?
Moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem?
Developing peace treaties Between Israel and Arab nations in the Middle East?
Bringing home our troops from continuing wars?
Making Americans a priority again?
No . . . none of the above! The question then is, WHY?
They hate him because he has in 3 and 1/2 years accomplished what they have not been able to do in more than 50 years!
They are not just ‘sore losers’ however, they are self inflated, arrogant, prideful elitists who resent not being placed in the positions they believe they are due (Cf. Haman in the book of Esther). They believe they are not only smarter than the voters, they are entitled, the very attitudes of tyrants and dictators down through history who have belittled, defamed, tortured, imprisoned, and murdered millions who would not conform to their enlightened wisdom and “divine right’ to be respected as kings and queens of our nation; the same attitude as had Satan, the prince of the power of the air, the fallen angel who wanted to usurp the role of God over the whole earth.
May God have mercy on America if we fail to recognize all the signs God has given us to see the truth in the matter of who is best qualified and called of God to be President of the United States.
Open our eyes to see we do not have to fear a ‘dark winter’ but instead rejoice in Your Presence, in the light of Your Countenance, giving the world hope in Him Who is our Life.
Grant wisdom in the days ahead and turn our hearts to You. We pray for our President, his family, and all you have called to surround him in the love and protection of Your Guiding Holy Spirit. Bring a great wave and Spirit of hope and deliverance to all Americans, and especially your people that we might be a light and help to all who are going through difficult and heart wrenching times without jobs or income. Move in our hearts with compassion to reach out to our neighbors and those who have no hope. He is our Hope and they need to know that their hearts can be filled with renewed hope as they trust in Him. We ask these things in the name of Jesus our LORD. Amen.
