Were you one of the 12 million Americans who watched the State of the Union address by President Donald Trump on Tuesday night? If you did, you must have noticed the “sitters” and “standers”, “smirkers”, and Trump “haters”, whose body and facial language told all.
In spite of the President’s finest effort to date to applaud, appease, lead, and unify the warring factions in all three branches of the federal government to do what is best for the nation, it was evident the political aspirations and goals of too many of our elected officials stand in opposition to fundamental American values and institutions that affect all Americans.
Accordingly, we have come to an American ‘Waterloo’, a decisive victory or . . . defeat in the battle for America. Watch this video to understand what is happening in Washington D.C. and across the nation in our state capitols, media, and educational institutions.
Christians must ‘stand firm’ NOW‘ in our churches, communities, schools, and public debates if we are to ensure our values and goals for our children and families are preserved come
November 3rd, 2020 and beyond.

Our Father, and Sovereign LORD of life, You know our frame, and our thoughts before we think them. You know the devices of fallen men and their lustful desire for power and control. Remind us as Your salt and light ambassadors to the world, of the power of the Holy Spirit living within us to speak truth to our brethren and elected officials. Strengthen us in our rightful authority as citizens of Heaven and this republic, to remove those who do not fear you, nor respect Your authority over them, from positions of authority in government at all levels. In the name of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
