Remember the now fading notion that the “Occupy” Movement was somehow going to force us to recognize that capitalizm was the great bane of American society? Remember too that Nancy Pelosi, former Speaker of the House, lauded it as a force for good, much as she did the 2000 page ‘healthcare’ bill? Remember the organized anarchists against the economic summit in Seattle and elsewhere as they ran rampant in their destruction? Remember too how the anarchists in both groups led disaffected students to accomplish their attention getting fanatacism? Remember Van Jones, the self professed communist activist and rabble rouser and darling ‘Czar’ of the Obama Administration? He is right in the middle of the Occupy Movement! Is it any surprise that he was one of Barack Obama’s selected ‘Czars’!
Eric Metaxas, in his best selling biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, points out that “Anti-Semitism had existed for decades among the students of German universities.” Only months after Hitler became Chancellor and as a result of the Nazi campaign against the Jews, the “German Students Association” planned and carried out torch light parades on May 10th 1933 in every university town across Germany, ending in midnight bonfires to burn Nazi disapproved books in order to purge Germany of “un-German” thoughts. And now comes our own leftist initiated ”political correctness” movement in America.
The ‘anti-semitism’ movement that literally destroyed Germany and millions of Jews, not to speak of all those who fought and died to stop the ensuing madness, is now the anti-capitalist movement, an effort not to level the playing field, but to destroy any idea that with individual freedom comes responsibility and opportunity, anathama to those who fiind it easier to take from those who have worked than to be personally responsible for their own decisions.
It was Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Propaganda Minister, who addressed the 30,000 at the Berlin burning, saying, “German men and women! The age of arrogant Jewish intellectualism is now at an end!”
For our modern day anarchists, Van Jones and Nancy Pelosi can be heard saying, “American men and women! The age of capitalism is now at an end!” …and as Goebbels went on to say, “You are doing the right thing at this midnight hour–to consign to the flames the unclean spirit of the past. This is a great, powerful, and symbolic act….out of these ashes the phoenix of a new age will arise…O Century! O Science! It is a joy to be alive!”
Tell that to the millions they burned, tortured, and murdered at Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Dachau, Treblinka, Bergen-Belsen, and the other 1200 concentration camps the Nazis established in Germany and occupied countries. Tell that to the survivors and loved ones who saw their families separated, tortured, beaten and starved.
Who’s up next for the left in America? The Christians. You can see it coming in our college and university classrooms, media, left wing pundits and God haters in the entertainment world, the Obama Adminsistration, and ACLU assaults on Christmas, prayer, crosses and even His Name. Goebbels would be proud.

History teaches us that we learn nothing from history. It has been said that a nation that forgets it’s history is doomed. We seem to forget that the German people were so eager for leadership they elected Adolph Hitler, “Der Fuhrer,” as Chancellor of Germany on January 30, 1933, just 78 years ago. Within less than two months he suspended those sections of the Constitution that “guaranteed individual liberties and civil rights,” passing the “Enabling Act” for “the good of the people.”
While not to be compared to Hitler, it is noteworthy that Barack Obama, like Hitler, dismisses the Constitution whenever it gets in the way of his stubbornly held personal views. No matter that his view conflicts with deeply held religious convictions in millions of Americans, views protected in the First Amendment.
Obama, like Hitler, is righteous in his own sight in imposing his will on the American people. Dictators dictate, and this President has a propensity to exercise authority he does not have under our Constitution. That by itself should cause all Americans to pause and reflect upon his qualifications to hold the highest office in the land.

Failing to comprehend what the Founders intended in the First Amendment, or more likely, that it no longer matters what Americans believe it means, the Obama Administration foolishly thumbed it’s nose at our strong belief in religious liberty when it required coverage of sterilization, abortifacients, and contraception in all health plans under the new healthcare law.
When a Catholic Archbishop instructed priests to read a letter to their congregations that said, “We cannot — we will not — comply with this unjust law,” the government’s Chief of Chaplains instructed military chaplains not to read the letter to those under their care, a clear intrusion of government into the arena of religious liberty.
In the book of the Acts of the Apostles, when the Jewish High Priest “and all of high priestly descent” commanded Peter and John to stop speaking and teaching “in the Name of Jesus,” Peter and John said, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God, you be the judge; for we cannot stop speaking what we have seen and heard.“ Acts 4:18-20
In America, we the people are the government. It is our prerogative, under the Constitution to speak freely, but when the lewd, the perverted, and the pornographers have more freedom to say and write whatever they wish, but we cannot, it is a harbinger of things to come from an Administration that respects neither our rights or the Constitution they are sworn to uphold.

Remember Elmer Gantry? The strategy to mislead and maneuver republican voters to do as the Republican establishment wants, while not overtly out of Sol Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, is more akin to the slick and seductive methods of Elmer Gantry. They, and the media, refuse to acknowledge except in garbled and muffled tones, that the attack and destroy ads began in Iowa by the Romney Campaign, and his ‘surrogates’. The attack ads continued through New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Florida, with the very clear purpose of destroying voter confidence in Newt Gingrich as a viable candidate for the Presidency of the United States.
Voters seem to forget that Herman Cain and Michelle Bachman, both conservatives, were also victims of intentional efforts to undermine their candidacies.
Now, with Gingrich sufficiently torpedoed, and splitting the conservative vote with Santorum, the moderates in the Party of Lincoln, now claiming they are ‘conservatives’, can breathe a little easier while announcing to all that their candidate will be the next Republican nominee for the Presidency of the United States. And how did they do it? They once again persuaded a sufficient number of Evangelicals that ‘electability’, jobs, and economics are more important than the moral and spiritual foundations upon which all the rest is dependent.
If they continue to deceive even the elect, as the exit polls suggest they will, the remaining 46 states will surely do their bidding.

 January 30, 1933, Adolph Hitler became the chancellor of Germany. Two days later a young German Theologian named Dietrich Bonhoeffer gave a radio address titled “The Younger Generation’s Altered Concept of Leadership.” Bonhoeffer, only 26 years old, noted that the younger generation, after the disastrous defeat of Germany in World War I, had “lost all confidence in the traditional authority of the kaiser and the church.” According to the young Theologian, a “profoundly misguided concept of leadership” emerged in their “search for meaning”, a concept focused on the idea that Germany could be restored to it’s greatness through the concept of ‘The Leader”. It was called the “Fuhrer” principle, a concept that Hitler rode to power and which led to “the horrors” of the Nazi death camps. a view that to Bonhoeffer was based on “fundmental philosophical errors.” To Bonhoeffer, “real leadership derived its authority from God, the source of all goodness.” “The authority of the Fuhrer, which Hitler insisted he be called, was submitted to nothing. It was self derived and autocratic, and therefore had a messianic aspect.”
America and America’s youth, observing our waning stature in the world, our military setbacks, sobering economic losses, foolish government policies, and a seemingly irrelevant Church, made the same mistake when they listened to the rhetoric and promises of Barack Obama in 2008. All authority is indeed derived from God and those who ignore that fact, inside the church and without, will invariably pay a price they now fail to comprehend.

In the midst of all the news about our nations debt, unemployment, election controversies, and finger pointing, comes indication of a long overdue spiritual awakening on Capitol Hill. The Congressional Prayer Caucus, a group of about 100 members of Congress, held, and personally paid for a private viewing of the film “Courageous.” It is reported that over 300 people, including dozens of Congressman, staff, and Capitol Hill Police and their families attended. Standing ovations followed the showing which included a cleasr presentation of the Gospel.
In this so called ‘post modern’ era where the futility of philosophical humanism has left an enormous void of meaning for millions of Americans, a return to tradional values of marriage between a man and a woman, children, and home, male leadership and wexample, is being welcome again by thoughtful and concerned Americans, as it ought to be.

On January 23rd, 2011, I wrote a commentary on America’s Achilles heel, abortion, called “Ending America’s Dance with Death.” In it I quoted R. Sargent Shriver who wrote in a 1992 New York Times article that,
“The advocates of abortion on demand falsely assume two things: that women must suffer if the lives of unborn children are legally protected; and that women can only attain equality by having the legal option of destroying their innocent offspring in the womb. The cynicism of these assumptions reflects a terrible failure of moral imagination and social responsibility and an appalling lack of respect for women.”
No greater lie and human travesty as the phrase “a woman’s right to choose”, outside of the Garden, has ever been foisted upon the human race and foolishly embraced than this satanically driven phrase elevating the so called “rights” of the born over the God granted rights of the innocent unborn.
Embracing by toleration a blatant disrespect for human life is not only a violation of the law of God, it represents a rejection of God’s authority over His creation and a rejection of God Himself. It is the ultimate statement of defiance and independence, an in-your-face assertion that we are gods unto ourselves.
Without ending America’s dance with death and restoring our nation’s moral center, repealing Obamacare, creating jobs, and reducing our debt will not prevent God’s judgment on America. The murder of the innocents, made in His image by Him and for Him, offends and grieves a holy God whose justice and judgment will not wait forever.
Unless those with a conscience and respect for human life vote in far greater numbers in our Primaries and Caucuses, and in the November 6th General Election, the “terrible failure of moral imagination and social responsibility” and the “appalling lack of respect for women” will continue its de-civilizing and destructive manifestation in every area of our lives. Help us Restore America by registering to vote, voting your values, and awakening Christians to their citizenship duty and voting responsibility.
