What does it say to Christians in America and people around the world when the President of the United States speaks glowingly to the largest abortionist organization in America about women’s rights, and says nothing about the rights of born alive, innocent babies willfully and unconscionably murdered in a Philadelphia abortion clinic? And then closes by saying “God bless you.”
What does it say to us when this same President, makes a personal call to congratulate a NBA basketball player for coming out of the closet to announce that he is a homosexual, and then lets the media know that he made the call?
What does it say to those same Christians and people around the world about our Constitutionally guaranteed religious freedoms, not to speak of our freedom of speech, when the President of the United States approves an Air Force policy that promises to court martial Christian Chaplains if they, “promote their personal religious beliefs to their subordinates or to extend preferential treatment for any religion.”
According to Lt. Gen. (Retired) William “Jerry” Boykin, Executive Vice President of Family Research Council, “The penalty these secularists are seeking for those who don’t comply with their view of religious speech is court-martial.” Boykin points out that, “If this policy goes forward, Christians within the military who speak of their faith could now be prosecuted as enemies of the state.” It has, in his words, “…the potential to destroy military recruiting across the services as Americans realize that their faith will be suppressed by joining the military. If chaplains and other personnel are censored from offering the full solace of the Gospel, there is no religious freedom in the military.”
Barack Obama deceived the American public when he ran for President in 2008 about his view of the oxymoronic idea that God ordained marriage should include men with men and women with women. It should not have surprised anyone when he and his Attorney General came out against the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in violation of his oath of office to uphold and defend the Constitution and the nation’s laws. It should not surprise us that this anti America ideologue now clearly supports restrictions not only on free speech but religious liberty, and is willing to lock up those who don’t conform!
What should we be confused about at this point?
I warned when he was running for President in 2008 that he was a Pied Piper, and a charlatan. He has proved it over and over and over, and will do so again as the truth comes out on the obvious Benghazi cover up.
